Frequently Asked Questions

  • We’ve had the privilege of documenting over 300 weddings since we started in 2010.

  • While we do shoot large weddings with 300+ guests, we seem to find ourselves documenting intimate luxury weddings more often. Our clients tend to prefer a relaxed, but well designed experience with their closest family + friends.

  • A fly on the wall, documenting what we see in front of us, in a creative way. You should feel like we are just a close friend with a camera, rather than a big production. Our job is to blend in as much as possible, and let things unfold naturally. We only step in to direct you when we absolutely feel it is necessary. We gravitate towards the in-between moments throughout the day. We help you relive the sights, sounds, and feelings of your wedding celebration through, what we like to call “professional home movies.”

  • You bet. A majority of our weddings are “destination weddings”. We’ve filmed on five of the seven continents, and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

  • Yes, we love to shoot Super 8mm film! You can add it on to any of our packages. Our preference is to drip it tastefully throughout your film, so that you get a nice mix of digital + film.

  • Yes, as long as it’s possible to fly a drone at your venue, we will always try to get a couple unique shots from the sky. It is not an added cost. We see drones as a great tool to have in our bag, but not essential to making an amazing film. Unless specifically requested, we typically won’t be flying a drone during the ceremony, in order to keep our footprint as small as possible.

  • We like to get an idea of the music that you dig, before diving too deep into a film, so that we are on the same page. We also pay attention to what is playing throughout your wedding day, and what the vibe is overall and try to match that. Ultimately, we don’t want to age the film by choosing something that is only trendy right now, which is why we prefer songs that are timeless. We use sites like musicbed.com to properly license the music in our films, so that nobody is out here getting sued.

  • Discretion and exclusivity is important. Let’s chat more about what that would look like.
